ITR-2 form can be filed by eligible individuals or HUFs in three different ways – using digital signature certificate, using electronic verification code and by adding information in ITR-2 Form electrically and sending it to the Income Tax Office by post or mail.
Under ITR- 2 Form income generated from sources like Capital Gain, Housing Property, Foreign Income, Agricultural Income above Rs 5000, Income from lottery or other immediate gains.
Every individual or HUF who is liable to pay income tax return under ITR- 2 Form should file tax on or before 31st July annually.
